Estate Planning Drafting Paralegal
SUMMARY
Drafts any and all documents pertaining to estate planning for a client from instructions given by attorney; responds to general client inquiries regarding non-legal matters; assists clients with trust funding issues; drafts funding transfer documents as necessary under supervision of attorney; monitors suspense dates; serves as liaison between client and attorney as necessary; maintains assigned client files.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
1. Education: Paralegal training in the drafting of Wills, Trusts, and other types of Estate Planning Documents.
2. Experience: Must have worked as an estate and trust drafting paralegal in a law firm for a minimum of 2 years.
3. Skills & Abilities: Good typing skills required; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and HotDocs required; Familiarity with Tabs 3/Practice Master preferred; strong organizational skills and attention to detail mandatory; ability to work independently required; ability to get along with others and communicate effectively is a must; team player.
